Shelley Solomon is a Life Coach, Community Wellness Leader, and the Co-founder of Authentic Conversations & Consulting LLC, with more than 30 years of experience across healthcare, behavioral health, and coaching settings, Shelley brings a steady, compassionate presence and a deeply practical understanding of life's most challenging seasons.

A Minnesota native, Shelley earned her Associate of Applied Science in Health Sciences with High Honors. Her professional background spans a wide range of roles, including former Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working with middle-aged and geriatric patients in both healthcare facilities and private homes; hospice caregiver; Trained Medication Aide (TMA) serving clients from youth through geriatrics; and Patient Care Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator (PCA/HUC) in hospital settings. Her clinical experience includes work in behavioral health, labor and delivery, nursery, pediatrics, orthopedics, cardiac care, hospice, and emergency services.

Shelley has also served as a registered birth doula (DONA-trained), supporting pregnant individuals and families — from teenagers through adulthood — through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. In addition to her direct care work, she has held leadership and administrative roles including practice manager for a mental health clinic, GI technologist in hospital and clinic settings, and administrative assistant/surgery scheduling and pre-authorization specialist for an orthopedic practice. These roles gave her a strong foundation in systems navigation, advocacy, communication, and supporting people during times of uncertainty and transition.

In her coaching practice & consultancy experience, Shelley works with clients ranging from teenagers to older adults. Her areas of focus include grief and loss, parent-child estrangement, relationship transitions (including marriage and divorce), pregnancy and pregnancy loss, teen pregnancy, parenting, and family dynamics. She also enjoys supporting youth and young adults in building self-esteem, strengthening decision-making skills, improving organization and motivation, developing study habits, exploring career direction, and navigating the transition into adulthood through behavioral and life skills coaching.

Shelley helps lead Authentic Conversations & Consulting with a shared mission: to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals and families can reflect, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence, resilience, and intention.
